For most of her adult life, Kimberly Joy has been ministering the Gospel of Jesus Christ through teaching and preaching. However, she believes that ministering goes beyond the pulpit.
A writer, Kimberly is the author of Know Yourself! Be Yourself! Love Yourself! She also edits and writes blogs and books for others, including serving as editor for the following: God Knows the Way That I Take and Discovering God’s Priceless Gems: My Amazing Assignment both written by Pearlie I. Ealey-Forrest, Autistic and Thriving by Pamela Scott-Goines, and How To Demonstrate Effective Leadership by Kennedy Germain.
A playwright, Kimberly has written the stage plays Dear God Save Our Sons, Dear God, I’m Not My Mama and Planted Roots. She is also the co-founder of The Power and Faith Theatrical Players.
A radio personality, Kimberly can be heard each Wednesday at 4:30 PM, Friday at 4:15 PM and Saturday at 6:00 PM on Cincinnati’s Inspiration 1050 AM and 103.1 FM WGRI and www.inspiration1050.com. On The Kimberly Joy Show, Kimberly uses Bible verses, everyday examples and music to enlighten and inspire her listening audience to know who they are in God, to be who they are unapologetically, and to love themselves wholeheartedly!
An actress, Kimberly’s acting projects include the stage plays Dear God Save Our Sons, Dear God, Planted Roots, I’m Not My Mama, At the Cross, I Loved You On Purpose, The Best Gift Ever, Her Heart’s Desire, Who Told You?, What a Woman Wants, Will a Man Rob God?, Should Have Been a Better Man, Nothing But Da Dawg in Me, After You’ve Tried Everything…Try God, and Someone to Love Me. She is also featured in the independent films Broken Pieces and A Lesson Learned.
A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, Kimberly holds a bachelor’s degree in English Education from Miami University (Ohio) and a master’s degree in School Counseling from the University of Cincinnati.
